Additiv-Chemie Luers was founded in 1948 in Bremen by Mr. Karl-Heinz Luers with the objective to produce Sodium Petroleum Sulfonates for metalworking fluids. Additiv-Chemie Luers GmbH is specialised in additives and packages for the quick and effective formulation of metalworking fluids, industrial lubricants, and related applications. Maintaining a close partnership with domestic and international customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
The focus is on the development of environmentally friendly products according to the latest technical standards and in compliance with health regulations. Where possible supporting the use of local raw materials and restricting core chemistry to enable the market to produce cost-effectively with maximum security of supply. The production site is located in Delmonhorst close to the center of the Hanseatic port town of Bremen.
The company is located just off the highway B75 about a 10-minute drive from Bremen International Airport. Additiv-Chemie Luers GmbH is a daughter company of Diersch & Schroder GmbH & Co. KG in Bremen, Germany a family-owned group with business activities in the trade of mineral oil products, tank storage, renewable energies, chemical industry, and IT. Altogether, more than 800 employees currently work at different sites in the DS Group.
